Ink & Imagination: The Art of Storytelling (Grades 6/7)

STEM Rocketry (Grades 8/9)

This STEM rocketry class introduces students to the science and engineering behind rockets through hands-on design and experimentation. Students will explore concepts such as forces, motion, aerodynamics, and energy while building and launching their own model rockets. Using the engineering design process, they will test, evaluate, and improve their designs. The course integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and math by encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Students will also learn about real-world applications in space exploration and aerospace careers. By the end of the class, students will understand how rockets work and gain practical experience in designing and launching successful models.

Camp Build 2.0 (Grades 8/9)

Calendar Jun 15, 2026 at 9 am, runs for 1 week

Join Amy Dries — an experienced middle-school teacher and woodworking instructor — for a hands-on cabinetry camp where campers will learn to build cabinet boxes, drawers, and doors using shop tools under close, safety-focused supervision. Campers will use equipment like radial-arm saws, table saws with dado blades, mortisers, and drill presses while developing teamwork, problem-solving, and creative, personalized touches. Along the way, campers will learn how projects connect to careers in drafting, construction, cabinetry, and design, inspiring future pathways.
